5 Intresting things about the Anglo-Saxon times

1. The firt things that got my attention about the Anglo-Saxon times is how the people dress is very different from what we wear today. They use cloths that didn't show a lot of skin.

2. The other thing that got my eye about the Anglo-Saxon times is that slaves where also a part of their lives. They became slaves if they didn't pay a fine or the bad luck of been born a slave.

3. The other thing that i liked about their time is the way that they got their foods. They didn't just go to a store and buy everything that they needed they had to grow it. some of the food or crops they had are wheat, oats, rye, and barley..
4. The other thing that is intresting is how they travel around, They use the road as a way of trasporting things and it was very common and sometimes even risky.

5. The last things is the administration the way they divided the the land into shires, mainly according to the territory of the firts tribes.

Favorite Part of Story

My favorite part of the story Beowulf is when he said, "They have seen my strenght for themselves, Have watched me rise from the darkness of war, Dripping with my enemis' blood. I drove five great giants into chains, chased All of that race from earth. I swam In the Blackness of night, hunting monsters out of the sea.

This is my favorite part because it's saying that Beowulf is very brave and that he's not sacare of anything. He fight with a lot of monster and always defeated them so he's also know for the battles that he has fought. I think thats cool because you one of the strongest man on earth so thats why I pick this part. He was the only man that fought Grendel and defeated him something that seem impossible.

to play with it and then he bite me I was only like 5 years old so I didn't knew better
